🍁 The 3rd Annual Adopt-A-Light Pole Fall Decorating Challenge is Back! 🍂

Downtown Eagle River is getting ready for fall, and the Adopt-A-Light Pole Fall Decorating Challenge is back for its third year!

Businesses, families, clubs, organizations, and individuals are invited to adopt one of 20 downtown light poles and decorate it for the season. It’s free to participate, but poles are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

🌟 Only 20 poles are available, so be sure to claim yours early!

Important Dates

• Registration Deadline: September 18, 2026

• Installation Period: September 23–27

• Voting Period: October 1–15

• Displays On View: September 28–December 1

  
  

This year’s challenge includes a few familiar requirements. Each display must incorporate plaid in any color combination, cranberry-like items, and fall décor. From there, it’s up to you to put your own spin on it!

Community members and visitors will once again have the opportunity to vote for their favorite displays on Facebook and through an online poll.
