A Message from Our President

Thanks for visiting our website!

Eagle River was selected as a “Main Street” community in 1999, joining over 1,500 other cities in 44 states that use proven strategies to accomplish building improvements, downtown beautification, business retention and recruitment, community branding and promotions, and other methods that lead to a vibrant and viable downtown.

If you’re thinking of getting into business downtown or in the city or if you’re already in business and thinking of improving, expanding or relocating, click on “Resources” for a description of the various services available to you at no cost.

If you’d like to help with a donation to one of our community improvement projects like; Artscape banners, Flags & Flowers, downtown landscaping, Public Wifi, or Riverview Park, click on “Projects & Programs” to learn more or click the donate button on the bottom of your screen and support your favorite.

If you’d like to volunteer to help install Christmas decorations, serve on one of our committees, maintain one of our community gardens or help with an event or fundraiser, click on “Get Involved."

Eagle River Revitalization Program's Executive Director Karen Margelofsky and the nine member Board of Directors are working hard every day to make downtown Eagle River a better place, economically, aesthetically and socially. A major part of our annual budget comes from fees assessed by a statutorily-authorized Business Improvement District (BID) on all commercial properties in the City at the time of their inception in 1999. We sincerely thank these businesses, as well as, Eagle River’s Mayor and City Council for their enthusiastic ongoing support of our mission and our projects.

We welcome your interest and assistance in helping the City of Eagle River grow and prosper!

Sarah Zidek, President
ERRP Board of Directors
